Founder and owner Julie Osterman has been teaching music classes for kids in the Houston area since 2008. She studied vocal music performance at Pepperdine University, but has been singing, skipping, dancing and whistling wherever she goes since she could talk and walk.

Ms. Osterman has performed on the stage for decades and became interested in providing Musical Theater experiences for kids when she discovered that her daughters’ elementary school was lacking a program, whereas her fondest memories of childhood were of performing in her elementary school plays. After eight years of providing Musical Theater classes after school at one campus, Ms. Osterman founded SING Studio in order to musically serve the wider Houston area.

SING Studio believes that singing, dancing and telling stories together is a wonderful way to build skills, but more importantly, community. Music and theater are creative outlets where children can express themselves artistically, and also recognize their potential for success.
